BioWare designer: 'All hands on deck' for next Mass Effect 3 DLC by: Matt Liebi →

neilsaggy:

Judging by a hint by BioWare designer Jos Hendriks, Mass Effect 3’s next DLC is going to be pretty lengthy. We still don’t know when the DLC will release or what it will consist of, but we know it features an eight-person writing team, including core members of the Mass Effect 3staff such as lead writer Mac Walters.

“It’s all hands on deck for this one. Pretty much every Mass Effect 3 DLC writer here in Edmonton is involved,” BioWare designer Jos Hendriks wrote on the company’s official forum. “If my math skills are correct [that means] eight.”

The new expansion is being developed at BioWare Edmonton. The last Mass Effect 3 DLC, Omega, was headed by BioWare Montreal who is also responsible for development on Mass Effect 4.

Mass Effect 3’s chief composer Sam Hulick is also set to return. Last night he tweeted he was “working on an unannounced Mass Effect 3 DLC.”

More details are coming “later on”, he added. Hulick did drop one major hint, revealing the content of the next Mass Effect 3 DLC could be quite emotional.

“Tossing in piano and muted strings for this one particular piece. High potential for tears,” he teased.

Other noteworthy returns include actor Seth Green, the previous voice of Normandy pilot Joker, and Raphael Sbarge, voice of squadmate Kaiden Alenko. Both actors tweeted about recording sessions for Mass Effect 3.

Mass Effect 3 has now had four major single-player DLC packs launch for the game: From Ashes, Extended Cut, Leviathan, and Omega. Are they planning on going out with a bang on this one?”

Dear Mass Effect fandom,

WHAT COULD THIS POSSIBLY  MEAN???
